Reciprocal Clubs

We have reciprocity arrangements with the following international clubs. Our members are welcome to visit and make use of their facilities just as we warmly welcome their members to visit us at beautiful Itchenor.

Sailing on the Thames

LCSC have a rental fleet of Enterprises, Lasers, Visions, Fusions, and X Boats available for hire.  Racing is held 2 hours before high water at weekends and midweek evenings in the summer when tides permit. 

Offshore Racing

LCSC have a full program of offshore racing, and race training.  If youre interested in taking part, please contact the Rear Commodore Offshore Racing, rcoffshoreracing@lcsc.org.uk 

Offshore Cruising

LCSC put on several offshore trips each year. They typically include the Solent, English Channel, Mediterranean and the Caribbean.  The programme is available at https://www.lcsc.org.uk/events. ISC members are welcome to join any of these trips.

Training

LCSC runs both dinghy and offshore training (theory and practical).  These training sessions are mostly covering the RYA courses, but they also have mile builders, and bespoke training sessions to cover specific needs.  The RYA courses can be found on the calendar  https://www.lcsc.org.uk/events

All bookings can be made by emailing the secretary at admin@lcsc.org.uk or calling 0208 748 3280 (Office hours are Mon-Thurs 0900-1700)

Room Hire

The Linden House clubhouse is also available to hire for private parties at www.lindenhouse.london

BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO LCSC MEMBERS:

Itchenor Clubhouse

The clubhouse is available throughout the year and bedrooms are available for rent. Booking is available by calling the office on 01243 512400

Opening times for the bar and restaurant can be found at www.itchenorsc.co.uk/ashore/bar-buttery or in the ISC handbook in the LCSC bar. Please book in advance for the restaurant at www.itchenorsc.co.uk/events Click the book button and create an account to book and pay.

LCSC members are entitled to members rates on all facilities and activities. A temporary members card can be obtained from either the office or the bar on presentation of a letter of introduction from the LCSC secretary.

Sailing & Rowing in Chichester Harbour

ISC members have over 100 classic keelboats as well as fleets of RS200 and International 14. LCSC members are welcome to crew on members boats for up to 5 times each year.

ISC has a few rental RS2000's. There are also group rowing sessions available throughout the week.

Yachts visiting Chichester harbour

There are deep water visitors moorings close to the club and a visitors pontoon 400metres from the club available from the Harbour Master on 01243 512301 or ch14.  Tenders can be left on the ISC tender pontoon. The ISC ferry is available for pick up to and from the ISC pontoon subject to availability. Times of operation can be checked by calling 01243 512400.
